This advanced interactive case discussion is aimed at nurses, (interventional) radiologists and vascular surgeons of a competent and proficient level.

 

This interactive case discussion will focus on the treatment in real life of CLTI.  The following issues will be discussed:

Decision making between endo and open

How to plan your endovascular tools

How to do a retrograde access of the tibial & peroneal arteries

How to perform a vein bypass to the crural arteries

Learning objectives:

Be able to decide upon current evidence and guidelines which endovascular modality to use and when open surgery is indicated.

Be able to decide what endovascular treatment modality will work best based upon patient comorbidities, lesion location and characteristics, run-off vessels.

Be able to provide a dedicated CLI program
